Claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently started shooting down fewer Geranium drones are false. This was stated by the former spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat.
This is how Ignat commented on the pertinent statements of the people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Maryana Bezuglaya.
He called these statements manipulation and explained that half of the drones are “locally lost” and not “Geranis”, which in Ukraine are called “Shaheds”.
“I’ll explain it to you one more time: for the second month in a row, along with the Shaheds, something else has been flying, improvised, as they say, with a *ram and sticks, which in the reports we call a UAV of an unidentified type. Half of them are marked as missing at their location. Therefore, the lie that fewer people are being shot dead is obvious! – said Ignat, quoted by UNIAN.
However, he confirmed that many servicemen from units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and others are sent to the infantry.
“Yes, I confirm, they are shipping! Not good times… many, and it is very painful… these directions. But there are appropriate decisions, we must implement them and you understand why,” Ignat added.
