IKEA owner has found a buyer for his latest asset in Russia

The Swedish company Ingka Group, owner of the IKEA store chain, sold its last asset in Russia. We are talking about a distribution center opened in 2003 in the city of Yesipovo, Moscow region, RBC reports based on its own sources in the commercial real estate market.

A businessman became the buyer of the asset. Robert Uzilovwhose representative confirmed the information, but refused to name the exact amount of the transaction. But it is important to clarify that in 2003 the warehouse area was 50 thousand square meters, which later increased to 180 thousand square meters. After the company stopped operating in Russia, the warehouse was not used.

Market experts clarify that the fact of a transaction implies its approval by a special government commission and the discount is taken into account along with a voluntary contribution. Moreover, the market value of this asset is 16-18 billion rubles.
