AZERTAC reports that the president of the International Canoeing Federation said that the capital of Azerbaijan is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and noted that the rowing parade to be held today in Baku in connection with COP29 is organized at a high level and all the conditions have been created for this.
Referring to the importance of COP29, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the guests for their participation in this event.
Thomas Konietzko stressed that this event was organized at the highest level and emphasized that all conditions were created for the comfort of the participants.
President Ilham Aliyev noted that despite the short preparation time for COP29, all organizational work was carried out in a short time.
The guests said that they had visited Karabakh and Sugovushan with great pleasure and that the restoration and reconstruction work carried out there, the development of sports, including the conditions created for rowing, left a great impression on them. He stressed that good conditions have been created for canoeing in our country and expressed his gratitude to the Head of State for this.
The guest highlighted that Azerbaijan plays an important role in the development of sports, including rowing, and stated that this also contributes to environmental protection.
