Drivers who violate parking regulations on the capital’s streets will be fined.
Xezerxeber.az reports that special technical means are used for this purpose. Pictures of this have been spread on social networks. It was reported that a special vehicle constantly circulates on the streets of the capital and fines are imposed on illegally parked vehicles using cameras installed on it.
The Land Transport Agency told Khazar Khabar that the special vehicle in question belongs to them and that it is a pilot project.
Transport expert Yasin Mustafayev said it is legal to impose fines on drivers who do not comply with parking rules.
The expert said that after the car, which records illegally parked vehicles and is equipped with special technical means, began to operate, such cases have relatively decreased.
Please note that fines of AZN 20 are imposed for violation of parking rules and AZN 60 for parking in parking spaces designated for vehicles of disabled persons.
