The DANA arrived in Castellón and the towns of Illes Columbretes, Vinarós and Benicarló began to experience flooding this Tuesday afternoon. The rainy season that affects the Valencian Community, where the warning has been established orange level in the coastal areas of the three provinces, left accumulated 54 liters per square meter in Illes Columbretesin Castellón.

The Castellón Firefighters Consortium has so far provided eight rain-related services in the region of Vinarós and Benicarló, and in the latter municipality they have mobilized to save a person who was inside the vehicle stuck by water on the N-340.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), storms develop and intensify in the Mediterranean and during the afternoon they make landfall scattered along the coast of Alicante and neighboring areas, with some small hail, locally of high intensity and short duration.
