Baku TV prepared a report about a special market where citrus fruits are sold in Lankaran.
The market only sells wholesale and retail citrus products.
According to buyers who once went door-to-door to buy fruit, their job has now become much easier.
“The prices are very reasonable compared to last year. Before it was a bit expensive, but this year there is a drop,” says a Tovuz buyer.
According to seller Rahid Taghiyev, who sells at least 40 tons of tangerines and 20-30 tons of feijoa per day, the sale of subtropical fruits begins in September and continues until March:
“Whether it’s a product from Türkiye or Iran, it doesn’t taste like that. It seems like God created subtropical fruits for our area.”
