In 2024, trade volume between Russia and Armenia may reach a record level

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that commercial turnover between Moscow and Yerevan has increased significantly.

The Russian leader said that last year the commercial turnover between the two countries reached 7.4 billion dollars, and in the first half of this year it multiplied by 2.5 and exceeded 8.3 billion dollars.

“If we move forward at this pace, it means that this year the trade turnover can reach 14-16 billion dollars, which is a record figure,” said V. Putin.

According to V. Putin, trade and economic relations are developing dynamically and successfully.

“Russia is the main foreign investor in Armenia’s economy; in total about 4 billion dollars have been invested,” said V. Putin.
