It was reported that the pilot phase of the “4SI Academy” was jointly implemented by the Coordination and Analysis Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the ministry, the Educational Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education and the American company “Coursera.” The course has been completed. 10,000 registered users have had the opportunity to use the online education platform Coursera free of charge and in stages over the course of 1 year. Participants attended more than 32,000 courses, and those who successfully completed the training received a total of more than 4,000 international certificates.

The aim of the project is to support the development of digital skills in the country, increase knowledge in the field of advanced technologies and train qualified personnel for the labor market. The courses offered are divided into categories such as the fourth industrial revolution, digital transformation, professional preparation and language skills. Users are offered to take advantage of 40 universities such as Yale, Duke, Michigan, London, Illinois, Virginia and about 800 courses from companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Meta and Google. The total duration of the courses is 4-6 weeks and consists of video lectures, assignments and tests.

It should be noted that there are no age or other restrictions for those wishing to use the online education platform “Coursera” for free. Ensuring lifelong learning is one of the goals of the project. Participants who successfully complete the courses receive internationally recognized certificates from Coursera. The “Artificial Intelligence for All” program offered by “DeepLearning.AI” (3.5 thousand users) was the most requested course by “4SI Academy” users. “What is Data Science?” from IBM and 3,000 people each took advantage of the “Blockchain Basics” course from the State University of New York.

The project is planned to be continued as a national programme.
