In Baku, a bus driver who was under the influence of drugs was arrested at the request of passengers.
According to “Gaynarinfo”, the incident took place on October 30, 2024 at around 5 p.m.
Thus, the passengers reported to the police FG, who was born in 1969 in the village of Aganus, in the Lachin region, and works as a driver of a “Daewoo BS090” bus in the capital. Two passengers, a woman and a man, observed the inappropriate behavior of driver FG while driving the bus and reported it to the police operating in the area. They first approached FG and demanded that he stop the bus. Subsequently, they informed the DYP employees serving in the area. At that time, the bus passengers boarded another bus and left the area.
Upon the passenger’s complaint, the driver was immediately detained, medically examined, and it was determined that he was driving the bus under the influence of drugs.
By the court’s decision, FG was found guilty of committing an administrative offense provided for in Article 333-1.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and was administratively detained for one month, with the right to drive a restricted vehicle for two years.
