There are still no plans to introduce a wealth tax in Belarus. This was stated by the president of the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic, Igor Sergeenko.
According to him, conversations about the wealth tax began to actively develop after the Tax Code was amended.
“Last year, some innovations were introduced: this is a tax on the transportation of especially expensive vehicles, commercial real estate for individuals over 200 m. This started working this year, but in fact the taxes will start coming next year. “There are still no discussions or proposals for the additional introduction of a wealth tax.” – he emphasized.
