In Belarus, weapons will be used against illegal aircraft models and drones. On October 7, Alexander Lukashenko signed the corresponding decree “On the suppression of flights of model airplanes and unmanned aerial vehicles.”
The decree is presented in a new edition. Its objectives are “the regulatory consolidation of the right to use physical force, special means, weapons, military and special equipment, not only in relation to models of aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, but also with unmanned aircraft and vehicles” . This includes underwater and surface vessels, land vehicles and complexes that are controlled remotely or automatically.
“In accordance with the decree, the right to use (use) weapons and special means in relation to unmanned aerial vehicles, together with military personnel (employees) of military formations and internal affairs bodies, is also granted to employees ( workers, officials) of other paramilitary organizations”, — reported the press service of the Belarusian leader.
It is noted that for the purposes of the decree, such organizations are understood to be the prosecutor’s office, the investigative commission, the state commission of forensic expertise, the financial investigation bodies of the state control commission, the state inspection for the protection of flora and fauna. dependent on the President, bodies and units for emergency situations and customs authorities.
Let us remember that in Belarus the circulation and use of unmanned aerial vehicles by individuals is prohibited. To work with drones, organizations must obtain permission from the government.
