Supporters of former Bolivian president Evo Morales took over a military unit in the department of Cochabamba and took soldiers hostage.
Oku.Az “Wara TV” reported on this.
In the video broadcast by the television channel on social networks, one of the soldiers said that they were taken hostage and that their lives were in danger. He also announced the invaders’ demand: the Bolivian authorities should stop the operation to open the roads blocked by Morales’ supporters.
From the personnel it appears that the number of those who seized the military unit is much greater than the number of soldiers.
In addition, according to the press service of the country’s armed forces, soldiers of former Bolivian President Morales confiscated weapons and ammunition from supporters of the hostage taking on the territory of the military unit.
