In Germany, a teenager planned terrorist attacks against Jews

In the city of Wuppertal, located in western Germany, a 15-year-old teenager was arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks against the Jewish community. Hussein B., a citizen of Germany and Türkiye, came into contact with radical Islamist groups through social media, where he received detailed instructions on planning attacks.

“Bild” writes about this.

The suspect was under surveillance by the German intelligence services since the end of August, especially after the tragic incident in Solingen, where three people were killed in an attack. In connection with this, the boy was arrested, but was soon released under supervision. The second arrest occurred on September 9, when police received new evidence implicating him in planning the attacks.

Markus Kaspers, senior prosecutor at the Düsseldorf Public Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed that Hussein B. is being investigated on suspicion of conspiracy to commit terrorist attacks. Investigators say the teenager planned knife attacks, inspired by the Solingen killers.

During the searches, correspondence with radical Islamists was found on Hussein B.’s phone, in which he talked about possible places to carry out terrorist attacks and also published videos with symbols of the banned terrorist organization “Islamic State”.

His interlocutors incited him to attack Jewish cultural centers and events. In addition, the teenager spoke about the possibility of carrying out an attack during a school trip to Holland.

Previously, Cursor wrote that a Belgian film crew was attacked in Beirut.

The journalists were accused of spying for Israel.
