President Ilham Aliyev In his speech at the first meeting of the seventh convocation of the Milli Majlis, he outlined some of the tasks facing the country.
AZERTAC reports that the head of state said:
“The number one task is to increase our military power. Although the Second Karabakh War and the anti-terrorist operation are behind us, the processes taking place in the world, new conflicts, the creation of war zones and the increase in tension around us, and at the same time, the tendencies of revanchism in Armenia make us constantly pay attention to this area.”
The President of Azerbaijan said that the restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur is also a task facing the country and noted:
“However, if we narrow our focus to the military and fail to ensure that the funding allocated to it is adequate, we may be in for trouble in the future.”
