The Japanese company “Tohoku Electric Power” has decided to close the second power unit of the “Onagawa” nuclear power plant, which came into operation on October 29 in Miyagi prefecture.
Oku.Az TASS reported on this.
Although it was planned to start electricity production at the plant on November 3, the process did not begin due to an equipment problem. As a result, the plant operator decided to shut down the reactor.
It should be noted that the second reactor of “Onagawa” was the thirteenth nuclear power plant reactor operating in Japan.
