The hearing of the appeal against the sentencing of Elnur Alipashayev, Zahir Asadullayev and Ismayil Mamishov, accused of stealing a truck from a foreign company in Khojavand, has ended.
According to information obtained by Pravda.az, the decision was announced at the trial presided over by Judge Nazim Movsumov.
According to the decision, the appeal was not upheld.
It should be noted that as a result of actions carried out by the Khojavend District Police Department (RPSH), Elnur Alipashayev, Zahir Asadullayev and Ismayil Mamishov, suspected of stealing a “Hovo” brand truck belonging to one of the foreign companies, were detained in the district.
Investigations revealed that these people went to the company’s location after a prior agreement and after some time stole the vehicle from the region and took it to the city of Sumgayit. The location of the car was discovered by police officers and taken as material evidence.
According to Article 177.3.2 of the Criminal Code, a criminal case was initiated at the Khojavend RPSH on the matter and, by decision of the court, preventive measures were taken against the above-mentioned persons.
It should be noted that E. Alipashayev was sentenced to 5 years, I. Mamishov to 2 years, and Z. Asadullayev to 2 years and 6 months by the verdict of the Baku Court for Serious Crimes.
