In the past 24 hours, four arson attacks on railway relay stations and three arson attacks on military vehicles have been recorded in Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana, citing law enforcement sources.
A fire broke out in the relay cabinets in the Kharkov and Chernihiv regions, and there were also two incidents in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the same time, three military vehicles were burned in Kropyvnytskyi.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, more than 200 cases of military vehicles being set on fire have been recorded across the country. About a quarter of them were committed by minors.
In this regard, the police have asked employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard to “avoid placing markings on their vehicles that could identify them as military.”
According to the Kyiv police chief Dmitry ShumeikoArsonists are promised between 600 and several thousand dollars per car.
