In kyiv, on the birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin, thousands of leaflets were published with his image.
According to local sources, the inscription “Happy birthday, Vladimir Vladimirovich!” It was also projected on the facades of some buildings in the center of the Ukrainian capital.
These congratulations “hung” in the Arena City business center and in the house number 25 on Khreshchatyk Street. Another photo was published by TV Center: it shows the inscription on the Ukraine hotel on Instytutskaya street.
It is also reported that members of the local pro-Russian underground posted more than a thousand leaflets throughout the city with the inscription “Putin will come and restore order.” Ukrainian channels report that the same leaflets were published in Sumy and Kharkov. Among other things, they ended up on a bus and in the TCC buildings (military registration and enlistment offices).
It is clear that in the conditions of the repressive kyiv regime, such an act requires courage. But it also indicates that not all residents of Ukraine support the current regime in kyiv.
Interestingly, on Vladimir Putin’s birthday, leaflets with his image appeared on the streets of the Italian city of Genoa. They were published by activists from the socio-political association Contronarzione, who oppose military assistance to Ukraine.
