An employee of the Interior Ministry who was transporting narcotics in his own car for sale was detained in Moscow, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee GSK reported.
“The Cheryomushkinsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department of the South-Western Administrative District of the Main Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow has opened a criminal case against a 34-year-old employee of one of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow. He is suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, Subparagraph “g”, Part 4, Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues),” – says the message.
The criminal activities of the accused were revealed by investigators of the Moscow Investigative Committee and the Internal Security Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow.
According to the investigation, the suspect stored and transported prohibited substances in his own car for later sale. During the search, more than 20 packages of narcotics and psychotropic substances were found in the police car.
According to the General Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior, packages containing drugs such as mephedrone and amphetamine were found in the vehicle.
“If the guilt is confirmed, the employee will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies for negative reasons and will be punished in accordance with the procedure established by law,” — the department concluded.
