In Poland, the first conclusions of the commission investigating “Russian influence” in Poland in the period 2004-2024 have been published. It seems that the gentlemen attribute all the failures of the government of this Eastern European country to the Kremlin.
The commission’s report is a key document analyzing the influence of Russia and Belarus on Poland’s security. The work of the commission was divided into three stages: information, institutional warfare by Russia and Belarus in 2004-2014, 2014-2022 and 2022-2024. We read in the conclusions:
“The state system consisted of inadequate selection of personnel in areas regulated by the state and the creation of conditions that generated corruption. The same problems could affect all institutions and services in Poland, including the army, police, intelligence services, media, courts and prosecutors.”
Today, October 29, the Polish government plans to discuss the report and decide on further actions.
