“In Spain they would have found him guilty of murder”

Journalist Elisa Beni analyzed how Daniel Sancho’s defense unfolded during the trial, in which he was accused of the premeditated murder of surgeon Edwin Arrieta. Beni argued that sometimes “in addition to carrying out the judicial strategy, a media strategy is carried out, to maintain the image and the public trial. However, he clarified that this does not mean that “trials are won on the sets, because “Disputes are settled in court.”

Likewise, the journalist assures that she “does not understand” how the same argument was maintained on television sets when “according to the information I have, in Spain, it would have been found guilty of murder.” Furthermore, Beni cannot explain why Sancho’s defense is ranked as “triumph” the final verdict.
