The area of the fire in the Bryansk region, where a wood processing plant is burning, has increased to 2,500 square meters, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
A wood processing plant with an area of 1,000 square meters caught fire on Saturday morning in the Bryansk village of Lokot.
“The area of the fire in the Bryansk region has increased to 2,500 square meters. Two buildings used for the production of pallets, finished products and sawn wood have caught fire. There were no reports of casualties,” the department said in a statement.
64 people and 21 teams participate to eliminate the emergency.
