In the canceled master’s degree “there were 12 pre-registered and not 50” as she says

“Lack of students.” This is the only reason that led the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) to cancel the master’s degree that the wife of the president of the government, Begoña Gómez, co-directed at the public university of Madrid.

After Gómez accused the educational establishment of having canceled his training with “50 pre-registered in both modalities” (in person and online), from Complutense University of Madrid they deny the major and confirm Madrid Total that, according to their data, there were only 12 pre-registered.

In fact, these same sources assure that there were only four registered. “Two in the online version and two more in the in-person version.”

The decision of the Complutense University of Madrid, announced by Gómez herself in her publication in the Social network LinkedInwas taken after the meeting of the evaluation committee. An organization responsible for seeing the viability of the training provided by Complutense.

During this meeting, in addition to the master’s degree co-directed by the wife of the President of the Government, seven other diplomas were canceled. “All those who started in October were evaluated and those who did not reach the minimum number of students were canceled,” they explain.

Eight diplomas canceled

As this newspaper learned, the organizers of Begoña Gómez’s second master’s degree had planned an average of 20 students per modality, about forty in total.

“One thing is the pre-registered students, of which there are 12, and another thing is the registered students. The latter are the ones who present the documentation and, in this case, there were only four “Two in online mode and two others in mixed attendance,” they add.

From the UCM, it is explained that “the eight diplomas which were cancelled” during the committee meeting this Monday had the same reason: “the lack of students”.

The cancellation of this master’s degree is in addition to the recent decision of the UCM to end the Extraordinary Chair in Competitive Social Transformation (TSC)also co-directed by Begoña Gómez.

The two cancellations come as Madrid’s Court of Instruction number 41 investigates several cases involving Pedro Sánchez’s wife. And, among other things, its owner, Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, is investigating the conditions in which said chair was created.

This same Monday, in addition, the Provincial Court of Madrid approved that Peinado continues to investigate Gómez, although this court, as EL ESPAÑOL had anticipated, limited the subject of the investigation, excluding only one affair, linked to Begoña’s links with Globalia, holding company that owns the airline Air Europa.
