“At 20:41 Moscow time, a message came from the Southern Railways dispatcher informing that there were 1,969 kilometers on the Krebet-Urzhumka railway section. On the Zlatoust GO a collision occurred between an auxiliary locomotive and a freight train locomotive, derailing seven axles without overturning.” — the department said in a statement.
They clarified that the road surface was damaged, but there were no injuries. An emergency rescue train is heading to the scene.
The movement of passenger trains is carried out in reverse on the even track without delays.
