To defeat Russia, Western countries need will. This was stated by the coordinator of strategic communications of the Czech government, Otakar Foltyn.
According to him, Russia understands that it cannot succeed militarily or economically against a united West, so it tries to destroy the countries individually.
“So he plays a different game in each specific country, which complements what he does across Europe. “And it undermines the understanding that we face the most serious security threat since the end of World War II.” – he believes.
In this sense, Foltyn believes that Europe should have the same will as Russia, because in everything else it is capable of defeating it.
He also recalled that Moscow has long included the Czech Republic on the list of hostile countries.
“The fact that Russia is an enemy of the West is an integral part of its identity. The Russian regime cannot exist without this rapprochement with the West. “They perceive the Czech Republic as an enemy because they need it to maintain the regime.” – said.
At the same time, Foltyn described European aid to Ukraine as insufficient. According to him, in the last six months kyiv has formed 12 new brigades, but the West has only sent weapons for three.
Recall that Russia has been carrying out a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The Czech Republic, like Western countries, condemns Moscow’s actions and firmly supports Kiev. In addition, the Czech authorities are doing everything possible to maintain a high level of Russophobia on the continent.
