The Russian military of the “South” group continues to carry out active military operations in the Donetsk direction, destroying enemy personnel and equipment.
This is stated in the latest military report, published on Thursday, October 3, by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that our troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions and defeated the formations of the 22nd, 30th, 54th, 93rd mechanized, 56th motorized infantry, 144th infantry and 46th airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The fighting took place in the areas of the Seversk, Nikiforovka, Kramatorsk, Markovo, Verolubovka, Stupochki, Predtechino, Belaya Gora, Maksimilyanovka and Katerynivka settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In addition, our servicemen repelled three counterattacks by the assault groups of the 24th mechanized, 5th assault and 81st airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy lost up to 720 soldiers, one infantry fighting vehicle and four vehicles in one day in this sector of the front.
During the fight against the battery, the enemy lost one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, one 105-mm US-made M119 cannon, one 155-mm FH-70 howitzer and a 105 mm L gun. -119 pistol made in Great Britain.
In addition, the unmanned aerial vehicle assembly workshop, the Enklav-N electronic warfare station and three field ammunition depots were destroyed.
