Ismael Serrano is a Spanish singer-songwriter who released his debut album, trapped in bluein 1997. Dad, tell me again And Vertigo These are some of the songs he immortalized back then, and those that followed with those that completed his eleven studio albums and four subsequent live albums. Both songs are also part of his latest album, Symphonicin which he recorded his most iconic songs with 45 musicians in Argentina.
“I am a political animal who expresses himself like the son of any neighbor because I have the right,” he declared to this newspaper a year ago, after publishing The Song of Our Life. A sentence which perfectly sums up how, beyond his compositions, he is an artist who has never hidden his opinions since the start of his career. I still don’t do it.
