With temperatures much exceeding 40 degrees, the country has become a stove in the last days. Especially in large cities at lunchtime, the situation is unbearable. It is desirable that residents take all the necessary steps to remain cool and safe, while protecting the vulnerable members of their family. On Monday, on the first day of the heat, the drone with the thermal chamber of the municipality of Athens recorded 68 degrees on the ground, while the temperature in the air was 38 in the likabet.
The heat in many parts of the country is suffocating and presents risks for those who work on the street and those who have health problems. For this reason, the Ministry of Labor issued specific instructions for employees.
According to NMS, heat expires only in north -west Greece on Sunday afternoon, and on Monday in most areas a gradual retreat of very high temperatures is expected.

According to the network of automatic meteorological stations of the National Observatory of Athens / Meteo.
