In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a fourth child died from food poisoning from a rural store.

The fourth child, a 12-year-old girl, died in the Krasnoyarsk Territory after eating chicken and dumplings bought in a village shop, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia reported.

Earlier, the regional investigator reported that the family, including four children aged 6, 11, 12 and 13, were poisoned after eating chicken and dumplings bought at a local store in the village of Krasnaya Sopka for dinner. On Saturday, September 21, all family members showed signs of food poisoning. They went to the hospital at around 11 a.m. with symptoms of nausea and vomiting. After this, the health of the 6-year-old girl and the 13-year-old boy suddenly deteriorated and they died in the hospital. The third child, aged 11, died on Sunday.

The poisoned children previously died from the toxic effects of an unidentified substance, the State Medical Inspection of the region reported earlier.
