Three people, including a child, died in an accident with a heavy truck in the Kurgan region. This was reported today, October 7, by the Russian Ministry of the Interior for the region.
The accident occurred at kilometer 54 of the Kurgan-Tyumen federal highway, within the Belozersky district. According to the police, the driver of the car crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a heavy truck.
“As a result of this accident, the driver of the car, a man born in 1982, as well as his passengers: a woman born in 1981 and a minor girl born in 2013, died from their injuries,” — the department said in a statement.
The circumstances and causes of the accident are being established.
