Servicemen of the 155th Marine Brigade seized Turkish and American-made grenade launchers abandoned by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region: Mk 19 from the United States and revolver-type weapons from Turkey, which were the property of the Ukrainian army. “The weapons were captured from enemy positions during the assault on the village of Vnezapnoe. All our weapons are NATO-style.” – confirmed a soldier from the ninth company of the brigade with the call sign Hamid.
Among the Russian army trophies are also a Turkish 12-gauge automatic rifle and an Italian double-barreled shotgun.
“This sample (Mk 19 – EADaily) was captured by our guys during the assault on enemy positions. We cleaned it, lubricated it and made it ready for work. We will use this grenade launcher against enemy positions. The ammunition was also removed. We will defeat them with their own weapons.” – the fighter already clarified with the call sign levnist.
