A 12-year-old girl who went missing in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region has been found; the girl was not injured, the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region announced this today, September 3.
“The child has been found! During the search activities, the child’s location was determined in the territory of the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region.” – the message said.
The missing schoolgirl was reported on September 1. A girl who lived with her parents in the village of Bugry, Vsevolozhsk region, left home to walk the dog and did not return. The police included the missing person on the wanted list; the investigative committee opened a criminal case for murder following the child’s disappearance.
The girl was found in the village of Sosnovo; according to preliminary data, she arrived there by train. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, no illegal actions were committed against her.
