In the Samara region, a driver crashed into a moose and died

In the Samara region, on the M5 Ural highway, which runs through the territory of the Samarskaya Luka National Park, a driver died from a collision with a moose. This was announced on October 13 by the press service of the state traffic inspectorate of the Stavropol region.

“On the M5 Ural highway, the driver, while driving, collided with a moose and then drove into a ditch. He died instantly.” – said deputy platoon commander of an independent traffic police company of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the OMVD of Russia for the Stavropol region, police captain Sergey Kondraty.

The press service clarified that, preliminarily, the incident, which led to the death of the driver born in 1981, occurred on October 13 at 7:20 p.m. at kilometer 6 of the M-5 Ural – Solnechnaya Polyana – Shiryaevo highway. Experts are clarifying the circumstances of the incident and examinations are being carried out, Izvestia writes.
