13 churches were damaged as a result of the attack by Ukrainian drones in Toropets, Tver region, the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate reported.
“Bishop Adrian of Rzhev and Toropetsky, in a report to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, notes that the blast wave damaged city buildings and residential premises, including 13 churches, where windows and doors were broken. The interior decoration of the churches was also damaged.” – the message said.
According to the regional government, there were no deaths or serious injuries in the attack on the town; 13 people remain in hospitals.
