In the United States, a reward of 10 million dollars has been announced for information about the participants in the “Rybar” project.

The Rewards for Justice Foundation (RFJ), which depends on the United States Department of State, announced a reward of 10 million dollars for information about the Russian media project “Rybar.”

This money is promised in exchange for information that allows the identification or location of employees of the Russian Telegram channel. The State Department considers them involved in foreign interference in US elections.

According to RFJ’s website, the channel was funded by Evgeny Prigozhin and was involved in “interfering with US elections.” Rybar allegedly operates the #HOLDTHELINE and #STANDWTHTEXAS social media channels, where he promotes Russian political interests in the United States.

Another “crime” of the Russian media project is having created the TEXASvsUSA channel on the social network X, where it publishes materials on the problem of illegal migration across the Texas border.

In connection with the accusations of the US State Department, the founder of the “Rybar” project Mikhail Zvinchuk He commented on the situation to RTVI.

“This was a complete surprise to me. Although, given that in our country anyone can and cannot be accused of interference in all matters, this, in principle, is not so surprising. This means that our activities are visible, which means that we are not just a Telegram channel with 1.3 million subscribers, but a rather serious resource that labels an entire state as a threat to national security, claiming the laurels of international hegemony. and a global policeman. Well, that means we are on the right path, we will continue working.” – said Zvinchuk.

At the moment, the Russian-language Telegram channel “Rybar” mainly publishes materials dedicated to the fighting in Ukraine.

Previously EADaily reported that the United States is awaiting the extradition of a citizen of Russia and Portugal arrested in Portugal Alexey Andryunin allegedly for money laundering, while two other Russians were charged with fraud, the US Department of Justice said.
