Two people were killed and another was injured in an accident involving a truck in the Khokholsky district of the Voronezh region, the press service of the regional Interior Ministry reported.
The collision occurred at the 18th kilometer of the Voronezh-Luhansk regional highway in the Khokholsky district. According to the police, the driver of a BMW car, while overtaking, collided head-on with a truck carrying a fuel tanker.
“As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the vehicle died on the scene prior to the arrival of emergency medical services, and the truck driver was injured and transported to a medical facility.” – the message said.
Traffic inspectors are on the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being established. The press service clarified that traffic from Voronezh to the city of Ostrogozhsk is partially blocked.
