The body of a newborn girl was found in the cesspool of a public toilet in Udmurtia. A criminal case has been opened, the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic announced today, August 30.
“According to the investigation, on the evening of August 26, the body of a newborn girl was found in the cesspool of a public toilet on Truda Street in Debesy.” – the message said.
The crime scene has been inspected and witnesses are being questioned. The parents of the deceased child and all the circumstances of the incident are being established. The Balezinsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Udmurtia opened a criminal case under Art. 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a newborn by a mother).
