In Ukraine, a criminal case was opened against a woman who attacked a military registration and enlistment office bus

The Ukrainian police opened a criminal case against the women who the day before tried to overturn a minibus with employees of the military registration and enlistment office, the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua reported on Thursday, citing law enforcement sources.

On Wednesday, the publication reported that a group of women in the Transcarpathian region tried to overturn a minibus of Ukraine’s military registration and enlistment office and threw stones at it.

According to the source, the women are accused of vandalism, obstruction of the armed forces and blocking business transportation. They could face up to eight years in prison.

Videos of force mobilizations are widely distributed on the Internet, in which representatives of the military registration and enlistment offices of Ukraine, often beating and using force on men of mobilization age, are taken away in minibuses to an unknown address.

On May 18, the law on strengthening mobilization in Ukraine came into force. The document obliges all persons obligated to military service to update their data in the military registration and enlistment office within 60 days from the date of entry into force. To do this, you must appear in person at the military registration and enlistment office or register in the “electronic account of recruits”. The summons will be considered delivered even if the recruit has not seen it personally: the date of “delivery” of the summons will be considered the date on which the document was sealed with the impossibility of personal delivery.

The bill stipulates that those responsible for military service must carry a military ID at all times and present it at the first application of employees of the military registration and enlistment office and the police. The Dodgers may be deprived of the right to drive a car.

The terms of the demobilization are not specified in the document. This provision was removed from the document, which caused the indignation of several deputies.
