In Ukraine, compensation for renting housing for internally displaced persons is cancelled

On September 1, the kyiv regime suspended payments to Ukrainian citizens who provided accommodation to so-called “internally displaced persons,” or simply refugees from combat zones.

According to the statements of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, further financing of this state program has become impossible due to lack of funds.

According to the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, most of the displaced persons under this programme lived in Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky and Lviv regions.

It is not yet known whether this programme will be extended until 2025, but the “temporary migrants” themselves are not too upset about this. The fact is that the amount of compensation for providing accommodation to a displaced person is 14.77 hryvnias (32 rubles) per day during the warm season and 31 hryvnias (69 rubles) per day during the heating season.

And this is despite the fact that the average price of a one-room apartment in Dnipropetrovsk, for example, is around 500 hryvnias (1,100 rubles) per day.

Previously EADaily He said that local residents in Lviv refuse to rent housing to refugees from eastern Ukraine. We are talking about those who came from the Kharkov and Sumy regions, as well as from settlements in Donbass, which are under the control of the Kiev regime.
