The Ukrainian authorities intend to rename five cities in the country. The corresponding draft resolutions with recommendations sent by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance were published on Monday, September 30, on the Verkhovna Rada website.
Thus, it was proposed to change the name of the city from Pervomaisk to Olviopol. They want to change the name of Yuzhnoukrainsk to Gard. They propose to call the city Yuzhnoye Port Annenthal. It was recommended to change the name of the city from Pavlograd to Matveev and from Sinelnikovo to Rodnopolye.
