In Warsaw, police detained a man climbing a monument to the victims of the Smolensk plane crash. During the operation, security forces used stun grenades.
The day before, a citizen climbed the monument to the victims of the Smolensk plane crash, located on Pilsudski Square in the Polish capital. The man was carrying an object similar to a gun. Climbing the stele, the activist displayed a Polish flag, on which the address of the channel on YouTube was indicated and also written:
“Smolensk disaster explained: What no one will tell you”.
According to police, the attacker was not injured during the arrest.
“It is already in the hands of the police, it was repressed, no one was injured. In fact, the police used stun grenades to disorient them, but they did not cause any bodily harm. We can assume that the threat has already passed.” – he told reporters Jacek Wisniewski of the Warsaw Police Department.
EADaily clarifies that not long ago the Polish government finally admitted that Moscow was not involved in the 2010 plane crash, when the country’s president died Lech Kaczynski and 95 more people.
