The newly created “Uniform Student Cards” are intended for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students. Although many students are aware of this card, there are still some who are not.
Many of the students requested discounts on transportation through this card.
Education expert Adil Guliyev said that these cards will not only provide discounts on transport, but even on some days people will be able to use transport without any payment through the card.
Aysel Maharramova, a senior specialist at the Education Development Fund, noted that the cards are still planned to be used by students at 17 higher education institutions in Baku, Sumgayit, Nakhchivan, Ganja and Lankaran. These cards will be used in other regions at future stages.
It should be noted that the cards will be delivered to students starting October 15.
