A kidnapping involving mimes dressed in uniforms of employees of the National Security Service of Armenia took place in Yerevan. According to the website Shamshyan.com, today, September 4, at around 12:10, at the SAN MARCO swimming pool, located near the Ashtarak highway, two uniformed SNB officers approached 55-year-old Yerevan resident Lusina M. They introduced themselves as SNB officers and took her away in a BMW car to an unknown destination.
The woman’s relatives soon called the police operational control centre. Following the incident, the investigation department of the Ajapnyak and Davitashen districts opened a criminal case for kidnapping.
According to the website, the kidnapped woman is a US citizen. Her husband is also a US citizen and a well-known businessman in the country. According to one version of the investigation, the kidnappers were well informed about her family.
Police and investigators are taking all necessary measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify the kidnappers and locate the kidnapped woman and the criminals. According to the site, the woman was kidnapped when she was trying to get into her car.
