On the Turkish plain of Konya, the number of round holes that have suddenly formed as a result of climate change, drought and uncontrolled use of groundwater is increasing day by day. This situation is causing serious concern to the residents of the region.

The video was reportedly recorded in the agricultural fields of Reşadiye district, located in the northwest of Karapınar region. It is reported that more than 100 holes of different sizes with a distance of up to 5 meters have been identified here.
Scientists said the situation poses a serious threat because the region includes agricultural and residential areas. They also noted that there are 620 large and small wells in Konya province.
