Today is Independence Day in Azerbaijan.

On October 18, 1991, the Constitutional Law “On State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was adopted.

According to the Constitutional Law “On State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, the people of Azerbaijan regained their independence on October 18, 1991.
