India and Russia discussed S-400 supplies

Beijing -Moskva and New Delhi discussed the supply of a missile surface system to the air moved by the S-400 made in Russia. The Ministry of Defense of India revealed this in a statement on Friday (06/27/2025).

The discussion took place during the meeting of the Minister of Defense of India Rajnat Singhu and the Russian Minister of Defense Andrei Belusov on Thursday, on the meeting of the Minister of Defense of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tsindao, China.

“This is one of the most important meetings between the leaders of the two countries, which is held against the backdrop of Sindoor operations and the consequences of the need to increase defense production, especially in such important issues as air defense, air-air rockets, modern abilities and increase air platforms,” the Ministry of Defense of India says.

The Ministry of Defense of India added: “The supply of the S-400 system, the increase in the MKI SU-30 and the purchase of important military equipment in a quick period of time, non-religious from the main results of the meeting.”

“Sindoor operation” is the name of the password given by Indian attacks on May 7 in the Pakistani region.
