A MiG-29 fighter aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force (HHQ) crashed due to a technical fault in the northwest of the country, in the state of Rajasthan.
Oku.Az According to TASS, the Indian headquarters posted information about this on the social network “X”.
“During a routine night exercise in the Barmer sector, a MiG-29 belonging to the Indian Air Force suffered a critical technical failure, as a result of which the pilot was forced to eject. The pilot survived and no loss or damage to property was reported,” the statement said.
Investigations into the incident have begun.
It should be noted that the Indian Air Force operates more than 100 MiG-29 aircraft. These fighters, along with the Su-30MKI, form the backbone of the Indian Air Force.
