The new US sanctions are expected to reduce Russian oil supplies to India, making it difficult for Indian state refiners to secure long-term contracts. By the way, Russia has already suffered losses of about $40 billion from selling oil to India, and it is almost impossible to withdraw these funds from the Indian financial system.
