“The nature and manifestations of the epidemic process of many infectious diseases are actively changing,” Popova stressed.
According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor, one of the potential threats of an international emergency could be the plague.
It should be noted that today cases of plague are recorded in some regions of Africa, Asia and South America. But climate change and other factors can cause this infection to spread to new areas.
