Integration with the EU and NATO remains the “most important priority” for Georgia

Integration with the EU and NATO remains the top priority for Georgia, the candidate for head of the country’s Foreign Ministry, Maka Bochorishvili, said on November 26 at a parliamentary meeting.

“In accordance with Article 78 of the Georgian Constitution, Georgia continues its irreversible path of Euro-Atlantic integration. Consequently, relations with NATO and the European Union will be an important priority.” – said Bochorishvili.

Maka Bochorishvili has been introduced as the new foreign minister of the new government. Parliament is currently undergoing a government approval procedure.
